About Bob Manor
I’m based in the Windsor–Detroit corridor, where the automotive industry is less an occupation and more an ecosystem.
Factories, rail yards, dealerships, ports, auctions, finance companies, warranty providers, logistics firms, and media organizations all overlap here in ways that quietly shape how you see business, risk, and human behavior.
Over the course of more than three decades, I’ve worked across many layers of that ecosystem.

Along the way I built businesses, crossed borders, worked inside complex systems, and spent time with people operating at nearly every level of the industry
What fascinated me most was never the vehicles themselves.
It was the people. The decision-making. The incentives.
The invisible mechanics underneath outcomes. Over time, I developed a habit of noticing patterns.
The gaps between departments. The disconnects between strategy and execution.
The differences between what people said publicly and what they discussed privately.
The conversations happening between the headlines.
